March 30, 2021 - University administrators have made the difficult decision to cancel in-person, on-campus youth programs in summer, 2021.
The decision was made after careful review of available staffing, COVID-19 health and safety requirements, and the significant work required over the summer to ensure the university can open fully for the fall semester.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause for family summer planning. We truly appreciate your interest in our youth programs and camps. We look forward to a return to our usual educational and fun programming in summer, 2022.
The Wildcat Football Camp is a full contact camp offering specialized and technical instruction to athletes entering Grades 6-12 regardless of skill or position. Time will be spent teaching each athlete both offensive and defensive skills along with flexibility and weight training. It provides new and returning players to camp an opportunity to sharpen old techniques and learn new ones.
Staff are among the best college and high school coaches in the area. This gives campers the opportunity to sharpen their skills and techniques shortly before they begin fall practice with their own teams. Many of the campers have enjoyed exposure to various college programs through camp, which has initiated the recruiting process.
Campers must supply their own approved helmet, shoulder pads, pants, football shoes, and mouth guard. UNH is unable to provide this equipment due to NCAA regulations.
