Learn to Swim - Group Lessons

Group Evening Swim Lessons - Winter/Spring 2024

Group swim lessons are offered for kids ages 3-13 in 3-week sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for a total of 6 lessons.

This program focuses on life saving skills utilizing a level system from swim level 1 to level 6. Lessons are focused on life saving skills and becoming comfortable in an aquatic environment in the lower levels, and work up to stroke development and swim team preparation in the upper levels.

All lessons are held at the Swasey Indoor Pool, inside the UNH Field House, 145 Main St., Durham, NH.

You will be asked to indicate a swim level during the registration. Pre-school lessons are for ages 3-4; youth lessons are for ages 5-13. If you are unsure what your child's swim level is, select 'unsure.' All swimmers are observed on the first day of lessons and may be moved if the level chosen is not appropriate for the swimmer's ability. Consult the Swim Level Chart if needed.

Additional information is sent to enrolled students/families directly from the Aquatics staff before the session start date.

No refunds are provided for group lessons or for any missed sessions.
