Do shrinking birth rates and closing elementary schools in New Hampshire offer a preview of what's to happen around the country? Carsey School Senior Demographer Ken Johnson believes so. Johnson recently spoke with reporters at The 74 Million about recent data that shows that 8 million fewer babies were born in the past 13 years than would have if the 2007-era birth rates had continued.
