Georgia on His Mind
Justin Lappin ’16 is Georgia-bound after his graduation from the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics: He’ll be working at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Atlanta as an investment banking analyst on the acquisition finance, execution and structuring team.
Lappin describes how his UNH experiences paved the first steps on this journey.
“My favorite part of being a student at UNH has been taking part in leadership experiences in organizations such as the Atkins Investment Group, the Deans Ambassadors Program at Paul College and a nationally recognized, co-ed professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi,” he explains. “These organizations have allowed me to better myself as a professional while surrounding myself with friends that have similar interests and aspirations.”
His advice for the Class of 2020? “Four years goes by very quickly — prioritize making the most of your education, finding genuine career interests and then strategically finding a way to execute on various professional and academic goals,” he says. “But do not forget to have fun! There is plenty of time during your undergraduate academic experience to balance working really hard with having a great time.”
