UNH Dance Co. show puts impact of ocean litter in the spotlight

Wednesday, April 6, 2022

The 2022 UNH Dance Company just wrapped up its slate of performances of SPLASH, a production several years in the making that aims to bring attention to the impact litter has on the ocean and the vulnerable habitats within it. The show was scheduled to debut in 2020 before being delayed due to COVID-19 and returned this spring with both new and original cast members. It was also the first time ever that instead of separate performances for JTA (jazz, tap and aerial) and ballet, the two companies collaborated on a single production. SPLASH was directed by Gay Nardone and Assaf Benchetrit and choreographed by Benchetrit, Nardone, Susan Endrizzi and Mary Beth Marino.
