UNH Online has been named a recipient of the 2021 Excellence in Enrollment Management Award from the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA).

The honor “recognizes an outstanding professional, continuing, and/or online (PCO) organization (unit or individual) that models best practices and combines process excellence with superior results,” according to the UPCEA website.

The UNH Online team – under the leadership of Cari Moorhead, dean of the Graduate School, and Heather Holland, acting director of UNH Online – has embraced the Student Success Coaching model and is focused on providing support to students throughout their time in the program, from first inquiry through graduation and beyond.

Jackie Klatt, senior student success coach and data specialist, and Lindsey Jacquier, student success coach, have led the incorporation of the coaching model. Marketing initiatives are managed by Brieanne Young, marketing and promotions coordinator, and Gwendolyn Goguelet, project and communications coordinator. The team has grown to five members, with three new employees being on-boarded remotely within the last year during COVID-19.

UNH Online has experienced significant growth in the last five years, with an increase of 300% in the number of online graduate programs offered and a growth of 211% in online students enrolled from FY2016 to FY2021. The UNH Online team supports the on-boarding of online programs, marketing and recruitment and also supports online students, staff and faculty.
