Many Louisiana families are in the midst of a food crisis as a result of the 280,000 jobs lost during the pandemic, according to research reported by the Carsey School of Public Policy. Roughly half of these jobs have been recovered, but KALB News in Louisiana has reported on the ongoing problem and how communities are working to resolve the twin issues of job loss and food insecurity.
