Check suspect emails to be safe

Tuesday, January 21, 2020

The Phishbowl provides UNH users with a self-service way to determine if an email they have received is a known phishing attempt.

In the posts below, you will find examples of phishing emails seen on campus which are marked with a red X. Additionally, when legitimate University communications are reported as possible phishing attempts, they are also included here and marked with a green checkmark.

If you get a suspicious email but don't see it listed here, DO NOT assume it is safe. There are many variants of every phish, and new ones are sent each day. When in doubt, consult with your IT support staff or the UNH IT Service Desk at 603-862-4242.

If you receive a suspicious email that is not posted here, report it by forwarding the email to phishing.report@unh.edu.
