Hundreds of UNH employees, including five who received the 2018 Presidential Award of Excellence, were honored for their talents and dedication to the university during a staff recognition ceremony held May 4 in the MUB’s Granite State Room. Vice president for enrollment management Victoria Dutcher presented the awards.
“These recipients are the human faces behind our success across UNH,” Dutcher said. “They demonstrate excellence every day.”
Six employees were recognized for more than four decades of service. Robert Bennett of Facilities, Linda Tibbetts of the Earth Systems Research Center, Mylinda Woodward of the UNH Library, and Jean Mitchell of Athletics were recognized for 40 years of service while Diana Couture of the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Research and James Williams of the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (physics department) were honored for 45 years of service to the university. More than 200 employees who have been at UNH for at least 10 years received years-of-service recognition.
