HR highlights upcoming events

Sunday, October 15, 2017

During this busy fall benefits season, Human Resources (HR) has highlighed a few current and upcoming events.

Open Enrollment for University System of New Hampshire (USNH) 2018 benefits is right around the corner. Details on the 2018 benefit options will be mailed to your home address prior to Open Enrollment, Oct. 23 to Nov. 3. To help you keep track of all the USNH & UNH Benefits events and deadlines for this season, HR has created a calendar of events for October 2017.

MyPath2Wellness

USNH is committed to supporting your efforts to stay as healthy as possible. Part of that support is continuing the annual MyPath2Wellness program, designed to get you engaged in your health and help you improve it while providing up to a $400 credit for your 2018 medical plan costs.

Status benefits-eligible faculty and staff can earn the incentive by taking two simple steps:

Step 1:   Know Your Numbers through a Biometric Screening Clinic , scheduled at each campus during October. Check the screening schedule, located in the MyPath2Wellness program guide, for locations, dates and times and instructions on how to register for an appointment.  This screening must be completed by Oct. 31.

Step 2:  Complete the online Health Assessment, which can provide you with valuable information about your health and lifestyle. You’ll answer questions about your medical history, including how you see your health status and whether you are ready to change certain habits. It takes about 15 minutes to complete the health assessment, and you instantly receive a personalized health profile. Instructions are in theMyPath2Wellness program guide. This health assessment must be completed by Oct 31.

Flu Vaccine Clinics

All UNH campuses will host flu vaccine clinics for employees. View the availabledates and locations here.  Getting a flu vaccination each year is the best way to protect yourself from the seasonal flu, along with other preventive actions such as frequent hand-washing, covering your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing and sneezing and avoiding touching your mouth, eyes and nose to stop the spread of germs. For additional information on preventing seasonal flu and colds, visit UNH Health & Wellness.

Benefits Fairs

UNH Benefits fairs will be held at:

  • UNH Law School, Monday, Oct. 23
  • UNH Durham, on Wednesday, Oct. 25

Time and location for each USNH Benefits Fair can viewed here.
