International Student Emotional Wellness Symposium
Faculty and staff encouraged to attend Sept. 8 event

The Center for International Education and Global Engagement (CIEGE) and Student Life will offer a symposium on international student emotional health Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. in the Huddleston Ballroom. The event will feature Dr. Justin A. Chen, executive director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Cross-Cultural Student Emotional Wellness.
Chen will discuss the unique health and wellness needs of international students and how UNH faculty, staff and first responders can support and facilitate successful international student life here at UNH.
Participants will learn how to effectively recognize international students’ mental health needs and how to build capacity to meet those needs.
