Closures on Route 108 both Tuesday and Wednesday

Monday, October 3, 2016

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation has advised UNH that due to paving on a portion of Route 108 between Durham and Newmarket, there will be long lane closures and significant traffic delays on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

The work will be occurring on both lanes of a 4,000-foot section of Route 108 in the area known as the “Flats,” from the Row Boat Building, approximately 2,000 north of Stagecoach Road, to Bennett Road. In addition, a topcoat of pavement will be placed from the building to the beginning of the project near Hamel Brook.

Work is scheduled from 6 a.m. until midnight both days. This schedule is weather-dependent, so work could be delayed.
