The Studio Art minor at UNH offers the opportunity to develop your artistry in both two- and three- dimensional forms, from traditional drawing and painting to contemporary photography and sculpture. Here you'll be able to hone your creative skills while studying art history and architecture in our vibrant artistic community.

What is studio art?

Pursue your interest in the fine arts through the studio art minor at UNH. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills practicing two-and three-dimensional art forms that range from drawing, painting and photography to ceramics, sculpture and furniture design. You’ll gain studio experience while also studying art history and architecture. You can combine the minor in studio art with any major, such as art history, writing or mechanical engineering. You’ll be able to enhance your career potential or prepare for graduate studies in subjects as varied as architecture, business, journalism and landscape design.
