The online minor in Graphic Design at the University of New Hampshire allows students to develop creative and technical skills in visual design, typography, and digital media. Coursework covers branding and portfolio development, which prepares students for a career in graphic design, marketing, and digital media.

The minor in Graphic Design enables students to develop and enhance creative and critical thinking in the field of graphic design. Students apply technical skills to transform ideas into a variety of media and utilize visual communication to meet specific needs. The Graphic Design minor complements a variety of disciplines, as it pairs well with professional communication, marketing, and digital media.
The Graphic Design minor is well-suited to students who have a passion for skills in artistry, design, visual communication, photography, and technology. It is a perfect complement to the fields of marketing, branding, and advertising. Graphic design is about so much more than software--our courses train students to think as problem-solvers, to identify problems or needs, and to devise design solutions that fulfill those needs or solve specific problems. Thinking creatively and strategically prepares our students for a variety of careers.
All minor courses must be completed with a minimum grade of C-, and a 2.0 grade point average must be maintained in courses for the minor. Two courses must be at the upper level (600 or 700). Only 8 credits may overlap between major and minor.
