Requirements for the Program
- Credit toward the cognate will only be given for courses passed as credit and/or with C- or better.
- A 2.00 grade-point average must be maintained in courses for the cognate.
- Students must complete a certification of completion of cognate form at the beginning of their final semester.
- Students must complete 14 credits total as outlined below for the cognate.

Program Learning Outcomes
Ski resort industry knowledge- Basic understanding of social, economic, operational, and environmental perspectives of the ski and snowboard industry.
- Students should leave this course with competency in liability issues and legal considerations at ski and snowboard resort settings.
- This hands-on practicum allows students to apply skills in a professional setting, providing the necessary operational experience for a career in the ski and snowboard industry.
