Brigid x Delta Xi Phi's Anti-Trafficking Awareness Boutique Pop-Up & Movie & Panel Discussion

Delta Xi Phi (DXP) will be hosting an Anti-Trafficking Awareness event in collaboration with Brigid House of Hope!

There will be a pop-up Boutique from 5-6:30 pm in MUB Room 302. Brigid's boutique will offer a selection of women's seasonal clothing, jewelry, scarves, and handbags. 100% of the financial proceeds will support the program of Brigid's House of Hope, serving those directly affected by trafficking!

Following the movie screening of "Sound of Freedom" from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in MUB Theater 1, a short panel will discuss the movie, human trafficking, and its prevalence in the US and across various states. Free admission and free popcorn and cotton candy!

"Sound of Freedom" is a movie based on a true story. After rescuing a young boy from ruthless child traffickers, a federal agent learns the boy's sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to save her.

Brigid's House of Hope is New Hampshire's first long-term housing program for survivors of human trafficking in New Hampshire and surrounding areas. Brigid's House of Hope provides tailored support services designed to meet the specific needs of each survivor in their care, acknowledging the unique recovery journey each individual undertakes.

Delta Xi Phi Rho Chapter is UNH's only multicultural sorority! Delta Xi Phi is a national multicultural sorority, founded in 1994 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
