Celebration: An evening with UNH at the Jones Family Farms
We are grateful to Jean and Terry Jones of the Class of 1969, their son Jamie, daughter-in-law Christiana, and grandson Jackson ’27, who is studying agriculture, along with the rest of the Jones Farms “farmily” for helping us celebrate the impact of UNH research and the strength of our community.
At An Evening with UNH at the Jones Family Farms in Shelton, Connecticut, on May 21, 2026, alumni, students from the class of 2030, and other guests were reminded what it means to be part of a community of educators, scientists, students, and graduates who are rooted in shared experiences, committed to discovery, and driven to make a difference.
Bathed in the warm glow of lights strung from the barn’s rafters, attendees got a taste — literally and figuratively — of current research as they mingled with friends old and new. Around the room, heads were tilted back in laughter or forward in rapt attention as people spent time catching up, getting acquainted, learning something new, and reveling in the simple pleasures of good company, good food, and beautiful surroundings.
