Home to undergraduate admissions, here is where you’ll learn all about UNH in a helpful information session, pick up your campus tour, grab a map — or just say hi. Upstairs, you’ll find our Center for Academic Resources, your one-stop-stop for leveling up your study game. Here is where doors open. Here is where your college future becomes a reality. Now go explore our beautiful campus.
Stop 2
Paul College
Here at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics is where a top-100 business school becomes your platform, your starting point, your network. This building isn’t just modern and spacious: it’s wired for innovation and collaboration. Here is where connections spark, multiply, reverberate (we like to think of it as 21st century networking) and entrepreneurial ideas bounce off the walls. Here is where you’ll help brands develop their voice and sharpen their mission. Here is where you’ll intern and explore and build as you become the energizing business leader only you can be.
Stop 3
Interoperability lab
This is where you’ll find 30,000 feet of Ethernet cable, hundreds of computers and 50-plus server racks. Where you’ll test real products from Fortune 500 companies like Microsoft and Apple. Where you can rub elbows with seasoned engineers and executives at major companies. And where you’ll use the latest equipment and technologies to solve tough and relevant problems, gaining extensive experience for a smooth transition into the job market.
Stop 4
Downton Durham
Here’s where classic college town meets your new hometown. Charming, safe and community-oriented, downtown Durham packs a lot of punch into its walkable Main Street hub. There are unique local businesses, a well-stocked grocery store and plenty of places to caffeinate. You’re bound to see your peers, faculty and neighbors at your favorite downtown businesses, which means it’s more than a college town adjacent to campus: it’s a town where you’ll belong.
Stop 5
Dining
Here at Holloway Commons is where three-meals-a-day meets choose-your-own-adventure. HoCo, UNH’s largest dining hall, is one of three across campus, which means whatever your mains and sides there’s something for you. A burger with everything on it? A fresh salad? A chicken stir fry? Check the daily menus right on the UNH app and chart your course.
Stop 6
Memorial Union Building
Right here at the Memorial Union Building is where the University of New Hampshire becomes your UNH. This is our student union but also so much more. Here, you’ll build your community and discover new sides of yourself joining one of our 275 student organizations. Here, there’s always something to eat, someone to say hi to and something fun going on — like a movie screening or free concert. So, go ahead and call it “the MUB” like our current Wildcats do, because here is where you belong.

Career Services
Right here at UNH’s exceptional Career and Professional Success is where that dream you’ve had since before you can even remember comes into focus — and your next experience moves you even closer to making it a reality. Right here is where a team of dedicated career counselors works with you one-on-one to build a path as unique as you are. Right here is where industry partnerships and a vast, engaged alumni network help you stand out from the pack because you are part of the pack — the Wildcat pack, that is.

Hamilton Smith Hall
Here at Hamilton Smith Hall is where the College of Liberal Arts (COLA) brings thinkers, innovators and artists together at the center of campus. Whether you are expanding your horizons in UNH’s Discovery Program, taking your first-year writing class or majoring in one of COLA’s dozens of programs, you’ll spend time in “Ham Smith” and feel at home in COLA. Here is where the flyers advertising the English department’s upcoming events are a “who’s who” of famous authors. And there’s always a student performance to get excited about. Here is where art students get their hands dirty experimenting with charcoal in the studio and future filmmakers use cutting-edge tools to tell the stories they have to tell. Here is where philosophy students linger in the halls after class to continue their debates and tomorrow’s entrepreneurs dream up the next game-changing idea.
Stop 9
Thompson Hall
Right here at historic Thompson Hall, fall brings us all back together again. At hundreds of card tables fanned across T-Hall lawn, our more than 275 student organizations welcome their peers to U Day. It’s an annual celebration of everything going on in our vibrant, engaged community and your one-stop-shop for getting involved. Some students bring a list of clubs to find out more about. Others just like to wander in search of something new to try. The only (unofficial) rule for U Day is to just say hi.
Stop 10
Dimond Library
This is where you’ll hole up in a quiet study space before or after class. Where you’ll have access to individual and group study spaces. Where resources like books, journals, databases and more are at your fingertips. And where during finals, you can hang with the dogs — furry study buddies brought in to ease those frazzled nerves. And where you can join other students to scream your lungs out for a full minute during the primal scream. And then get ice cream.
Stop 11
Paul Creative Arts Center
PCAC: This is where you’ll find true passion for the arts. Where the creativity takes place. Music and theatre and dance, art and art history — it all happens here, in UNH’s center for the fine and performing arts. Here is where you’ll take in musical performances, view magnificent artwork done by students and faculty and attend plays and musicals and dance concerts. Where you’ll take classes and do studio work. Hear lectures by visiting artists. Visit the university art museum. Be inspired.
Stop 12
Kingsbury Hall
Here at Kingsbury Hall is where many of the nationally-ranked programs in our College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS) live. Here is where you’ll feel the energy of science and engineering all around you. Here is where learning at a top-tier research institution means that facilities are designed for doing — and pushing our knowledge of the world around us further than it’s gone before. Here is where you’ll walk by our state-of-the-art labs and see future engineers driving their own research or overhear a physics student talking with her faculty mentor about their project for NASA.

Spaulding Hall
Here at Spaulding Hall is where state-of-the-art renovations to the flagship building of the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture (COLSA) are underway. Here is where an incredible convergence of cutting-edge facilities and unique ecosystems puts you right at the center of your field. Here is where you’ll feel the saltwater on your skin aboard research vessels in the Great Bay or get your hands dirty cultivating better crops in our sustainable agriculture fields. Here is where you’ll research important treatments in our world-class genomics center right on campus or lace up your hiking boots to track New Hampshire’s moose population.

Hewitt Hall
Here is where future health professionals change lives — every day. Hewitt Hall is home to our College of Health and Human Services, the smallest college at UNH and one of the most remarkable, can-do communities you’ll encounter. CHHS students are compassionate leaders and quick thinkers, so it’s no wonder you’ll hear them say their classmates are their greatest inspiration. Here is where state-of-the-art simulation labs, research centers and learning spaces mean you’ll regularly apply what you learn, with expert mentorship and the tools you’ll use in the field

James Hall
Here at James Hall is where UNH’s commitment to sustainability is in the blueprint — literally. We are proud of James Hall because it’s the first building at UNH to earn Gold Certification for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, or more commonly, LEED, the gold standard for green, energy efficient building design. You can even track the building’s energy usage live on the real-time tracker located in the lobby. We are one of the top-10 most sustainable campuses in the country because we believe that every detail is an opportunity to do better for the planet we share.

First-Year Housing
There’s nothing quite like opening the door to your very first college dorm room. This is Congreve Hall, a vibrant community of first-year students through seniors living at the heart of campus. Here, you’ll gather your floormates to go to dinner in Holloway Commons (we call it ‘HoCo’) or concerts in the Memorial Union Building — or even to start your own intramural team. Here, you’ll be supported by full-time staff and peer resident assistants who are here for you and your unique journey. Your future residence hall is your home base for getting involved and finding your place at UNH.
Stop 17
Campus Recreation
Here at Hamel Recreation Center, or the HRC, you’ll find your lane, your class, your court, your people. Here, you’ll step out of your comfort zone. You’ll take a yoga class you wouldn’t have tried anywhere but here — or laugh more than you knew was possible playing inner tube water polo for the first time. Here, you’ll build your strength and a community. Here, you’ll be encouraged to always reach just a little bit higher.
Stop 18
Whittemore Center
The Whitt. This is where the fish is thrown on the ice after UNH scores its first goal of the game. Where White Out the Whit has fans dressed in white to show their support for our Division I hockey team. Where dozens of intramural sports are played. It’s where you can take classes in everything from strength training to Zumba. Where concerts are held, and where the occasional political candidate has held court.

Wildcat Statue
You’re at the Cat. This is where, as a new member of the Wildcat family, you’ll join the “Pat the 'Cat” tradition that has first-year students touching the Wildcat sculpture for good luck. Where 800 pounds of bronze represent the spirit and pride of being a Wildcat. Where you’ll take picture after picture capturing your UNH experience, from that first pat to commencement. Memories that will last a lifetime.
Stop 20
Transportation
You are in a hub of connection and tradition. UNH buses run up and down Main Street as they connect students to locations all over campus and our favorite neighboring towns, like Portsmouth. Right here, across from our bustling athletic facilities and the iconic Wildcat statue, it is easy to imagine just how exciting it is to be at the center of campus, in the middle of everywhere, connected to everything.
Stop 21
Field House
You are here at the UNH Field House. Here is where you’ll cheer on our D1 teams: basketball, volleyball, track, gymnastics and swimming and diving. So much of what sets our student-athletes apart happens here. Behind the scenes. Day in and out. One lap, workout and practice at a time. The Field House is also home to the Watkins Center for Student-Athlete Excellence, the place that puts the student in student-athlete and holds the key to our conference-leading NCAA Graduation Success Rate. Here is where Wildcats show up. When the clock is off. When the bleachers are empty. Before the sun comes up. Because to lead when it counts starts with sweat, dedication and teamwork — right here.
Stop 22
Wildcat Stadium
This is where UNH grooms future NFL players and coaches. Where Wildcat track star Elle Purrier launched her record-smashing career. Where sustainability takes the field: Wildcat Stadium is UNH’s first zero-waste facility. Here’s where you’ll find students hitting the books in the Watkins Center for Student-Athlete Excellence. And where, come fall, students fill the stands to cheer on their Wildcat teams, and then, when their day comes, fill the field for commencement.
Stop 23
College Woods
Right here at the edge of our vast College Woods natural area and trail network, you can smell the fresh forest air and hear the crunch of pine needles underfoot. Here, summer’s wildflowers become fall leaves. Here, miles of perfect snow for cross-country skiing become spring’s many little waterfalls. Here, immersed in nature all four seasons, you’ll feel away from it all — just a five-minute walk from your dorm. Bring your walking shoes and a friend, or a journal and a hammock. Or, just bring yourself — and a sense of adventure.

This is where veterinarians from around the region use our services to diagnosis diseases in pets, farm animals, wildlife and more. Where we aid state and federal agencies with diseases associated with international trade and bioterroris
