Nominate Commencement Honorees, Speakers for 2027 Ceremonies

Nominations are being accepted for individual recognition at UNH’s 2027 commencement ceremonies. The university invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to submit candidates for the Granite State Award, as well as honorary degrees and potential commencement speakers.

The Granite State Award recognizes those whose achievements and/or extraordinary service have made outstanding contributions to the state of New Hampshire. The award can be given to individuals or organizations/foundations that meet that criteria. A campus-wide committee will carefully review all nominations and make final recommendations to President Elizabeth Chilton.

Nominations are open through Friday, Sept. 11. Submit your nominations via the online form and be sure to include details that align clearly with award criteria — strong nominations will stand out. For guidance, please visit the UNH commencement awards webpage.
