How accurate is The Pitt? The show quickly became something of a TV phenomenon after it debuted, earning rave reviews from viewers and critical praise, including some for its realism. With the recent arrival of the second season, we checked in with an expert - Pamela Kallmerten, UNH nursing professor - for the inside scoop on what the show gets right, and where it misses the mark. So, is working in the E.R. really like that? Take a look and find out.

And if you're wondering whether nursing students are generally interested in the show (or show's like it) and what they might be able to learn from it, we spoke to Kallmerten about that in an additional video.

Finally, a shoutout to all of our Wildcat nursing alumni keeping local emergency departments running. We can't thank you enough!
