How to get active at UNH
There are so many different ways you can increase your physical activity at UNH. Some simple ways to increase your activity include choosing to walk rather than ride the shuttle always taking the stairs instead of the elevator.
Here are some other ways to incorporate activity into your days:
1) Join an intramural team on campus and continue to play a sport you love, without a ton of commitment.
2) Go to the Hamel Rec Center a few times per week. The newly renovated space has so much to offer. If you’re scared to go alone, take a friend with you and workout together.
3) Rent equipment from the Campus Rec’s Outdoor Adventures program and go hiking, snowshoeing, or kayaking.
4) Go for a walk in the woods. College Woods comprises over 250 acres has lots of trails.
