Event:Cookout with Smoked Alaskan Salmon
Background: I am faculty advisor to the UNH Department Of Energy Solar Decathlon Team. Yesterday they won the Civil Engineering Category in the URC.
The DOE is in disarray and the international competition the team worked hard for over two semesters was canceled.. They have continued the work and stayed in touch with the Alaskan school they are working on.
I was going to have them to my house but a falling tree in a recent windstorm hit the house so I need to make other arrangements.
I have a smoker that I have used many times. It uses a small load of charcoal with wood chips. I start the charcoal with a small gas torch I would set it up on campus near Kingsbury but far from any buildings and in a sheltered area. Low heat smoking will take two or three hours total.
