Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 

One of the key standards related to accessibility is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). These standards have been applied to web-specific content, but also to other types of digital content, apps, and similar content. They provide helpful guidance not only for websites, but all types of digital content.  

Information and Communication Technology: Revised 508 Standards and 255 Guidelines 

The U.S. Access board has created standards related to implementation of Section 508.  

ADA Accessibility Standards  

The US Access Board created accessibility standards that are applicable to public facilities covered by the ADA. These standards apply to construction and renovations and set requirements for how to ensure all individuals can access physical spaces.
