Staff Nominations

Below is detailed information for University of New Hampshire Staff awards. It contains the dates nominations are accepted, along with award criteria, and links to the nomination process and forms.

Criteria

A staff member classified as an OS, PAT or EE employee with a minimum of three years of service who has "Demonstrated excellence through outstanding performance in their position and a record of dedication to, and a concern for, the University Community."

Timeframe

Nominations will be accepted until April 15, 2022 to be considered for the spring 2022 award.

The 2022 award recipients will be invited to a luncheon with UNH President James W. Dean, Jr. and recognized during the Staff Recognition Program , held on Friday, May 6, 2022 in the Granite State Room, Memorial Union Building.

Criteria

Before his death in 1993, UNH alumnus and former Dean of Students William "Bill" Kidder established a fund to support educational efforts directed at enhancing the understanding of sexual minorities and gender identities. The annual awards seek to honor those who, through their scholarship, leadership, or outstanding efforts, foster greater understanding of sexual orientation and gender expression at the University of New Hampshire. This award is presented annually to selected student, faculty and staff members. 

Timeframe

The deadline to submit nominations is March 25, 2022 and you can nominate more than one person.  These awards will be presented on April 20th at the annual Pride and Pancakes Breakfast from  8  - 10 a.m. in the MUB's Granite State Room.
