New leadership, same mission
Mark Bonica, PhD, joined IHPP as director in 2025, bringing more than three decades of health systems leadership to strengthen the Institute's connection to UNH's academic mission.
Innovation and research excellence
Senior nursing students from the UNH School of Nursing partnered with IHPP on the Health at Syringe Services Project, conducting nearly 300 surveys and 60 interviews statewide — generating insights now shaping healthcare access across New Hampshire.
Growing NH's nursing workforce
Through the Advanced Nursing Education Workforce program, IHPP supported 95 graduate nursing students — including psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioners — with over $2.28 million in funding to help close the state's healthcare workforce gaps.
