Welcome to the URC

The 17th Annual URC was held April 11-23, 2016

The Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) is a celebration of academic excellence at the University of New Hampshire. In 2016, the URC celebrated its 17th year during a two-week long series of events, running April 11-23. Over 1,800 UNH undergraduate students, from all academic disciplines, present annually at the URC. The presentations showcase the results of students' research, scholarly, and creative projects in over 20 professional and artistic venues at both campuses (Durham and Manchester), making the UNH URC the largest conference of its kind in the country.

The Undergraduate Research Conference as well as the Graduate Research Conference exemplify UNH's commitment to fostering a dynamic culture of research - a culture that encourages inquiry, exploration, and deeper immersion in one's field of study. UNH's renowned faculty strengthen this commitment through encouraging undergraduate research and serving as research mentors to their students. We encourage you to explore the many ways in which research at UNH is transforming lives, solving global challenges, and driving economic growth.
