In Your Own Voice

Program Description:

In Your Own Voice shows students how to find their own voice and how to express it in their writing. This collection of readings, each chosen primarily for its distinctive voice, encourages students to immerse themselves in the sounds, the rhythms, and the sensibilities of the writing, and to explore how the voice contributes to each selection’s overall intellectual and emotional impact. (Longman, 1997)
