J. Bonnie Newman 
J. Bonnie Newman returned to the University of New Hampshire as interim president from June 19, 2006 to June 30, 2007. During her career, she has held prominent leadership positions in government, higher education, and the private sector.
Ms. Newman formally assumed the interim presidency upon the departure of Ann Weaver Hart, 18th president of the University of New Hampshire, who stepped down to become the president of Temple University.
