International Student Orientation General Information

♦ International Student Orientation is a program designed for all new international students (undergraduate, exchange and graduate) and attendance is mandatory.

♦ All new international students at UNH must attend International Student Orientation, even if you were previously a student at another US educational institution.

♦ Prior to your arrival in the Fall, you will be introduced to an Orientation Staff leader, a fellow UNH student who will be ready, willing and able to communicate with you and answer your many questions from a student's perspective.

♦ When you arrive, you will meet this Orientation Staff leader and spend your first few days with other new international students.

During Orientation

♦ You will go on a campus tour and have an opportunity to learn about UNH Health Services and the UNH Student Health Benefits Plan (health insurance).

♦ You will meet fellow students, both US and international, who will share their insights and knowledge with you to make your transition to UNH a smooth one!

♦ You will meet the staff of the Office of International Students and Scholars and learn what we do and how we can assist you.
