Program Cost

Tuition

Tuition for academic year 2013–2014 is calculated by course credit and sums to $30,063 ($27,330 for New Hampshire residents) for a typical student on both the 14-month and 24-month pathways.

Because courses are heavily concentrated in the summer months—which is when housing and travel costs are also higher—we have a differential fee schedule to allow more level payments across all four semesters. Thus, most semester costs range from $6,864 to $7,260 ($6,240 to $6,600 for New Hampshire residents), which includes one elective in each of the two residential summers. Students may schedule their third required elective, as well as additional optional electives, in either a residential summer term or a January online term; each elective results in additional tuition for that term of $1,815 (or $1,650 for New Hampshire residents).

Sample tuition payments for students follow:

"Students who live outside of a 50 mile radius of UNH Durham campus can petition for a waiver of these fees and will need to do so by completing a "Petition for Variance in Academic Policy" form and sending it to the Business Services office. The form can be found at http://www.unh.edu/registrar/regforms/petitionform.pdf and does not require an instructor or an advisor signature.

Please note - Students filing this petition should do it prior to the start of the semester. You may still file a 'late' petition as long as you are petitioning for the current semester. However, once the semester is over, you cannot retroactively petition for a waiver of a past semester's fees. Also, while the form says only for Undergraduates, you can still use it."
