After completing and signing the petition form (Petition for Variance in Academic Policy), you may submit it directly to UNH Business Services (it does not require instructor/ advisor/ coordinator signatures): business.services@unh.edu or by mail: UNH Business Services, 11 Garrison Avenue, Durham, NH 03824. Please be aware that this petition should be filed prior to the start of the semester. You may still file a 'late' petition as long as you are petitioning for the current semester. However, once the semester is over, you cannot retroactively petition for a waiver of a past semester's fees.

2If only 1 course is taken per term (total of 3 credits), the only Mandatory Fees that apply are the Registration Fee ($20) and the Technology Fee ($22.75), total of $42.75. All other listed fees will not be assessed to your account.

3All students are required to be covered by a health insurance policy while on the University of New Hampshire campus. International students may need to purchase a health insurance policy if their current policy does not provide health coverage in the United States. Please plan on arranging for this coverage, if needed, prior to your arrival on the University of New Hampshire campus (the cost for this is not included in this summary).
