Patricia Halpin, professor of biological sciences and biotechnology at UNH Manchester, was named a Fellow of the American Physiological Society (APS). Halpin is one of 21 new Fellows in the 2024 class.
The rank of Fellow of the American Physiological Society is an esteemed status reserved to honor distinguished leaders who have demonstrated excellence in science, have made significant contributions to physiological sciences and related disciplines and have served the Society. Fellowship is a distinct honor signifying recognition by one's professional peers.
APS has previously recognized Halpin with its 2018 Dale J. Benos Professional Service Award and 2017 New Investigator Award.
