New Hampshire has joined the ranks of 17 other states experiencing a population shift known as white natural decrease, meaning more white people are dying than are being born in the Granite State. The recent study by the University of New Hampshire Carsey School of Public Policy found this shift is happening more and more across the country and will continue into the future. "It's symbolic of the changing face of America," said UNH professor and demographer Kenneth Johnson, one of the lead researchers on the study. "The United States population is always changing."
