One of America's oldest existing structures, Long Wharf encapsulates the most important events in Boston history and is also the topic of associate professor Kelly Kilcrease’s newest book “Boston Long Wharf: A Path to the Sea.” While the wharf served as a place for local merchants to sell everything from rum and spice to flour and tea, Kilcrease also explores its darker side and how it played a prominent role during the American Revolution.

Kilcrease is an associate professor of business at the University of New Hampshire at Manchester and the author of numerous published articles on small business development and business history.

“Boston Long Wharf: A Path to the Sea” will be available March 29 at Barnes & Noble, Amazon and bookstores throughout Boston and the surrounding area.
