Alexis Dwyer

Program and Network Stewardship Coordinator

Alexis Dwyer grew up in Tampa, Florida, and attended the University of Florida, where she majored in business with a focus in sustainability. While working in sustainability education and studying a local farm, she pursued her interests in food system sustainability and social justice.  After graduating, Alexis served a year as an AmeriCorps member in New Hampshire working to coordinate nutrition and cooking classes for low-income families. Since moving to New Hampshire, Alexis has worked in food justice, managing outreach programs at the NH Food Bank including Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters NH program. She has also managed federal child nutrition programs such as the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program as a program specialist at the NH Department of Education’s Office of Nutrition Programs and Services. Outside of work you might find Alexis in the pool, as she trains for long-distance, open-water swims.
