The Hudson Valley Hospital Center is looking for experienced chefs and dieticians to contribute to healthy cooking programs in the new teaching and demonstration kitchen. Located in Westchester County, HVHC is committed to promoting local & healthy eating as a path to better nutrition and a more robust lifestyle. The teaching kitchen will host a variety of cooking classes for patients and the community. HVHC is recruiting instructors to help develop and/or teach classes. Instructors will gain unique experience while having access to all the tools and resources they need to conduct healthy cooking classes.
As of September, 2013, preparations are being finalized for classes to begin in the coming months. HVHC would like to connect with instructors to discuss program development and availability. Opportunities will exist for instructors to conduct individual classes, or on-going class series.
