RFP Consultant for Farmland Protection
The Jefferson County Farmland Protection Board is pleased to announce the opportunity for qualified consultants with a background in working with practitioners in the fields of agricultural land protection and open space conservation, landscape architecture, environmental or resource planning, or related fields and fundraising planning to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the Farmland Protection Program in Jefferson County, West Virginia. The plan will help the Board maximize its resources and improve its practices in order to protect more agricultural land and to manage its stewardship responsibilities effectively. The Board seeks the planning expertise of a conservation planning consultant to guide us in four key areas: 1. Leadership development, 2. Strategic planning, 3. Fundraising planning, and 4. Production of a working document that has broad support in the county to guide and evaluate the organization's activities.
