PAID Sponsorship/Media Internship with Eat Real Festival in Oakland, CA

Scope of Services: 4 Months - June 1, 2013 – September 30, 2013 The Eat Real Festival Sponsorship/Media Intern is responsible for Outreach, Media and supporting the Sponsorship Team of the Eat Real Festival (ERF), a multi-day food festival (Sept 27 – 29, 2013 in Oakland, CA).

This is full-time internship with freelance hours that is compensated with a monthly stipend of $750.

Franklinton Gardens has been awarded two Americorps HarvestCorps positions from September 2013 - September 2014.

This is a direct service position, not administratively oriented like our Americorps VISTA positions. Work detail will involve food production (planting/harvesting of fruit, veggies, fungi), garden installation and maintenance (e.g. trenching, hardscaping, weeding, mulching, watering, etc.), and physical infrastructure build-outs (e.g. roofs, work surfaces, root cellar, headquarters, high tunnels, etc.) for our 1.5 acre urban farm.
