Linda Sprague, Professor Emeritus of operations management at the former Whittemore School of Business and Economics, died Sept. 10. Sprague worked at UNH from 1969 to 2002. 

Sprague also served on the faculties at the School of Industrial & Manufacturing Science at Cranfield University in the U.K, the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland, and IESE in Barcelona, Spain. She was a founding professor of the National Center for Industrial Science and Technology Management (at Dalian), China.

After leaving UNH, Sprague was Professor Emerita of Manufacturing & Operations Management at China Europe International Business School. 

A memorial service will be held Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. at the MIT Museum Building N51, 266 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, Mass. (http://web.mit.edu/museum/visit/directions.html).
