The Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Engagement and Academic Outreach and the Office of Research Development and Communications are hosting an informational meeting on Thursday, Oct. 10, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in MUB Room 302 for tenure-track, extension and research faculty interested in applying to the 2014 Research and Engagement Academy created to enhance faculty scholarly agendas through external funding.  No RSVP necessary.

The academy is a semester-long learning community which includes seven interactive workshops about successful strategies with federal agencies and foundations, individualized coaching by faculty experts through the grant writing process, and time interacting with like-minded colleagues.  As academy participants, faculty members write and submit a competitive grant proposal.
