Recently, Healthy UNH teamed up with Campus Rec to conduct summer outings for faculty and staff, encouraging employees to be active, learn a new sport, and meet friends. Events included learning kayaking skills, kayaking tours and a day hike.

Healthy UNH is a campus-wide initiative that promotes improving one’s health while simultaneously decreasing health care costs. Its goal is to make UNH the healthiest campus community in the country by 2020
