Students on campus for the January term will have a dining option that hasn’t previously existed during the winter semester with the opening of Holloway Commons. The Main Street dining hall will be open seven days a week during J-Term. 

Breakfast and lunch will be offered from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m. Special block meal plans will be available. Union Court will be open 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during the same time period.  

“UNH Dining is very excited to offer this new service during J-Term for the campus community. We hope that many folks will take advantage of our offering and visit us frequently.  Please come share a meal with us,” says Jon Plodzik, director of Dining Services. 

Block meal plans begin at $213 for 25 meals and increase to 150 meals for $1,040. If a block plan has been previously purchased, those meals can be used during J-Term.  

Unlimited plans will be offered by the week as well. Prices and dates are as follows:

Dec. 15-21 (at 5 p.m.), $115

Jan. 2 - Jan. 4,  $54

Jan. 5 - Jan. 11,  $115

Jan. 12- Jan. 18,  $115

Jan. 19  &20,   $36

Held during winter break, January Term offers one to four credit courses during a three-week period in a variety of academic disciplines at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Registration takes place by phone or in person through Dec. 21, and by phone Dec. 27 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
