Tuesday, January 10, 2023

The University of New Hampshire is proud to be a national leader in sustainability and celebrates 25 years of infusing sustainability across campus and beyond. Hear from Tom Kelly, founding executive director of UNH’s Sustainability Institute, Ned Dane and Katie Bouton, UNH sustainability advisory board co-chairs, recent UNH graduate Kaelli Gehrung ’22 and Karen Spiller, UNH’s Thomas W. Haas Professor in Sustainable Food Systems, as they discuss UNH’s 25-year university-wide sustainability efforts and the three key things that have enabled our community to sustain the work over time and into the future: visionary philanthropy and stability, principles of sustainability grounded by the international scientific and policy community and civil society, and a foundation of continuous collaboration.
