An executive recruitment firm has been hired to partner with the University System of New Hampshire to conduct the search for the successor to UNH President Mark W. Huddleston, who is retiring at the end of June 2018. The presidential search committee appointed by the University System of New Hampshire Board of Trustees announced today the selection of Isaacson, Miller, a Boston-based firm that conducts more than 200 searches nationally and internationally each year.

The firm was selected unanimously by the USNH search committee, which reviewed 13 proposals and interviewed three finalists.

“This was a highly competitive process, and everyone on the committee agreed that Isaacson, Miller will be an outstanding partner,” says John Small, search committee chair and vice chair of the USNH Board of Trustees. “USNH has worked with them before, and they have the experience to understand how important it is for us to find a president who has the vision and skills to build on the success that UNH has realized under President Huddleston.”
