Pay Online at Transportation Services

Pay Online at Transportation Services

Wednesday, October 24, 2012

Transportation Services now has online capabilities for paying parking tickets with its new online service center.

To use the quick pay option you need the license plate of the car that got the ticket or the ticket number. You can pay more than one ticket at a time. Tickets on multiple vehicles might not be combined in one account and may require multiple log-ins. Pay with Visa and MasterCard or debit cards.

If your vehicle has been towed because of unpaid fines, you will need to be able to print a receipt confirming they have been paid in full to get your car or truck released. (Separate towing charges apply).

Appeals can also be made online. Again, you will need the license plate or the ticket number to access your parking account. Once you’ve logged in, follow the links for "appeal citation.” If your ticket is not eligible for appeal, it will say so.

Appeals must be submitted within 10 days of the date the ticket was issued, and won’t be considered if you have unpaid fines. Don’t forget to include your UNH ID number. Failure to provide all of the required information could delay the appeal or cause it to be automatically denied.

The appeals process allows for enforcement errors or extreme extenuating circumstances, not for exemption or exclusion from parking regulations.

To pay your ticket online or make an appeal, visit link http://www.unh.edu/transportation/parking/online.htm.  Make sure to print your receipt.

Applications for special event parking can be made online as well. Simply complete the form and send. Read more at http://www.unh.edu/transportation/parking/eventrequest.htm.

The parking office is open Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. More information can be found at http://www.unh.edu/transportation/parking/index.htm.
