The University of New Hampshire, Johns Hopkins University and Brandeis University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in support of a research collaboration to foster innovations in the development and application of relational coordination research through the Relational Coordination Collaborative (RCC).
This groundbreaking agreement provides a platform for the founding institutions to work together in a strategic partnership committed to exploring ways to conduct research, promote education and training, apply relational coordination in practice and promote collaboration in support of the Relational Coordination Collaborative.
Since its formation in 2011, the RCC has helped organizations build relational coordination for high performance. Relational coordination is the process of communicating and relating for the purpose of task integration. Research suggests that the strength of relational coordination among participants in a work process predicts outcomes that are critically and strategically important for organizations, including quality, efficiency, workforce resilience and well-being, customer satisfaction, learning and innovation.
