Provost Wayne Jones Named Fellow by National Academy of Inventors

Wayne Jones, provost and vice president for academic affairs, has been elected to the rank of fellow by the National Academy of Inventors (NAI), an organization whose members include U.S. and international universities as well as governmental and nonprofit research institutes. The NAI has more than 4,000 members and fellows from more than 250 institutions worldwide.
Fellows are chosen based on their demonstration of “a highly prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on the quality of life, economic development and welfare of society.”
The induction ceremony takes place April 10, 2020, at The Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.
