The UNH gymnastics team won its third East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championship in school history this year, advancing the squad to the NCAA Gymnastics Athens Regional competition in North Carolina. UNH lost in the first round, but not before Danielle Mulligan ’19 finished first on the uneven bars and Emma Winer ’20 posted team-leading scores on the balance beam and floor exercise. UNH went a perfect 14-0 at home this season and added its 2019 EAGL crown to titles in 2003 and 2014.

With the end of the season came the retirement of coach Gail Goodspeed (inset), who led the Wildcats squad for 40 years. She leaves with a career record of 648-327-2 and seven league championships, including one in each of her four decades.
