UNH Housekeeping Services is preparing for summer floor cleaning, which includes waxing/stripping hard floors or carpet shampooing in many buildings.
With many campus employees leaving for the summer, housekeeping asks employees to prepare their workspace before departing so that housekeeping can perform their summer services to the best of their ability.
Faculty and staff can help by picking up personal belongings, electronics and cables from the floor of offices and making sure desks are free of loose paper that will otherwise blow around when fans are used to dry the floors.
For those faculty and staff who will be on campus this summer, housekeeping will give at least two days' notice to prepare offices by posting on office doors.
