"My name is Jillian Meszar and I am going to be a junior in Music Education this fall, focusing on Double Bass and String Pedagogy. This summer I will be in Durham teaching violin, viola, cello and bass and focusing on string pedagogy. I am also going to be doing a lot of folk violin and jazz bass gigs as well as volunteering in student orchestras in the area. I just recently started my studio's website and will be tracking its progress on instagram, @meszar.string.studio. I also will be working with Health and Human Services, under the direction of Professor Don Robin, to create a study between improvisation and the brain."
