Kathy Neils, UNH Chief Human Resources Officer
Kathy Neils

As we prepare to break for the holidays, I want to acknowledge that the university has received official notification that the NEA has filed three petitions with the New Hampshire Public Employee Labor Relations Board (PELRB) requesting that the PELRB hold elections at the University of New Hampshire for a small portion of PAT and OS employees.

There are many variables that are unknown at this time including which employees would be included in the proposed units and which would be excluded, the timing of the elections, and related details that will help employees make an informed decision in their best interest.

We will continue to work to ensure that your individual voices are heard and valued, the university’s academic excellence is advanced, and UNH remains one of the very best employers of choice in our region.

Thank you for your continued engagement on this important matter that will require significant time and attention in the new year. In the meantime, on behalf of the university we wish you and your families a peaceful and safe holiday break.

Chief Human Resources Officer
